💰 What We Accept (and What We Don’t)

We accept useful, tradeable commodities—tools, food, gear, supplies, and equipment that benefit the community.

We do not accept:

U.S. Treasury checks or money orders

Bank-issued notes or commercial instruments from Chase, J.P. Morgan, etc.

Government-sponsored credits or digital payment tokens

⚠️ The U.S. Dollar is valued at -15:1. It’s a liability, not an asset, in our system.

We screen out scammers, freeloaders, and dishonest actors. We welcome:

⚖️ As protected by Title II of the Civil Rights Act, ADA 42 U.S.C. § 12181, and Restatement (Second) of Contracts § 6, we retain the right to accept or refuse members for any reason not based in discrimination.

⏱️ Scheduling & Emergencies

We don’t run a fixed schedule. Our time is limited and based on availability, current projects, and the owner’s health.

⚠️ As outlined in the ADA, we are not required to maintain fixed hours if it conflicts with medical needs.

Emergency response (towing or urgent project access) may be offered to All-Access and Legacy members depending on conditions and capacity.

🔧 Project Support & Contribution Requests

Any project support provided by us is voluntary and non-contractual. Members may contribute toward time, energy, and material use where appropriate.

Member provides parts (~$600)

Member may request project guidance, space, and tool access

Contribution requests (i.e., $600 suggested support) help sustain the collective and are not payment for labor

All shared project efforts are mutually agreed upon before any work begins.

🔒 Legal Structure & Protections

Centsless Creations is legally organized as a nonprofit Private Membership Association, protected under:

IRS Pub. 526 & 501(c)(3) (donation-based nonprofit contributions)

FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 41 (truth in disclosure)

Restatement (Second) of Contracts § 6 (freedom to associate and transact privately)

Roberts v. U.S. Jaycees, 468 U.S. 609 (1984) (constitutional right to private association)

ADA Title III, 42 U.S.C. § 12181 (reasonable accommodation in flexible operations)

Membership fees and contributions are private donations, not taxable income or wages.
